There is a question I am often asked, especially at local meet-ups: “Hey, what is LOGIC actually doing?”. This makes me wonder, “Why does someone know of our company, but not what we are doing?”. It is because we talk a lot about LOGIC, but not clearly.
Talking a lot is easy. Speaking concisely is harder. Communicating with clarity, is on another level of difficulty. Why though?
Communicating with clarity means the other person understands to a great degree what you are saying. For this to happen, you need to put yourself in the shoes of the audience. It means putting the other end at the forefront of the communication. You talk not just because you have something to say, but because they need to hear something.
Communicating with clarity means prioritizing signal over noise. It means not wasting ink. It means respecting other person’s time and not wasting it.
It is difficult and it is worth it.
Having said that, we, at LOGIC, are a web development company. We work with clients that want to build long-lasting products. Also we create our own products, driven by a passion for improving our work and lives.
